Azure Cloud Specialist for IT Operations

DLG is seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Specialist.
Join our IT Operations Server and Cloud team to manage Azure services, enforce policies, support daily operations, and maintain documentation. You'll enhance security, troubleshoot, ensure compliance, optimize costs, and improve performance. The role involves collaborating with teams and vendors, supporting onboarding, cloud solutions, service rollouts, and ongoing improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Azure cloud services, enforcing governance and policy-as-code for security and compliance.
• Oversee daily cloud operations: system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery, updates, and platform resilience.
• Maintain documentation and operational standards for consistency and compliance.
• Enhance security by managing WAF, private endpoints, reducing public exposure, and supporting incident resolution.
• Ensure logging, access, data protection, and compliance via policy-as-code.
• Monitor and optimize cloud consumption, manage costs, and right-size resources.
• Work with teams and vendors to support cloud projects and automate CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist onboarding of users and services and administer Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Drive new solutions and improvements, including advanced networking and automation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expertise in Azure operations, platform management, governance, and compliance.
• Experience with automation (CI/CD), monitoring, backup, DR, and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, WAF, private endpoints, and data protection.
• Ability to optimize costs and workloads for performance and reliability.
• Skilled in documentation, process maintenance, compliance, and advanced Azure networking.
• Effective collaborator with teams, vendors, and experience supporting AVD and onboarding.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills in automation, networking, and security.
