Category Lead - CAPEX, FM, MRO & Utilities

As part of scaling our global indirect procurement organization, we are seeking a Category Lead (m/f/d) for CAPEX, FM, MRO & Utilities. You will take end-to-end ownership of the category, acting as a strategic expert, business partner, and functional leader, driving cost optimization, supplier innovation, and global performance.

Your tasks

• Ownership and execution of the global category strategy in alignment with the Head of Global Indirect Procurement
• Identification and realization of optimization and value-creation opportunities based on market insights
• Definition and leadership of strategic sourcing initiatives and major supplier award decisions
• Strategic management of key supplier relationships, ensuring performance, innovation, and long-term value
• Monitoring and reporting of category KPIs and global performance metrics
• Functional leadership, development, and escalation management for Category Buyers

Your profile

• Academic degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in indirect procurement or category management, with focus on CAPEX, FM, MRO & Utilities with global/cross-functional exposure

• Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive category strategies and value creation
• Excellent project management skills, coordinating internal and external stakeholders efficiently
• Positive leadership style, guiding and supporting Category Buyers in strategy and day-to-day operations
• Business fluency in English and Danish or German
