As a Director, FP&A, you lead the team which provide the key analyses that drive our strategy forward. Working closely with our Business Finance Partners, you oversee and continuously enhance the quality of reporting and analysis, enabling well-informed, strategic decisions.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the FP&A analyst team, comprising 6-7 direct reports (in Denmark and Germany), ensuring that the team and the activities performed are effectively enhancing business performance and supporting executive decision making
  • Manage the planning and forecasting process, always keeping an oversight of where the company stands financially
  • Drive the development and definition of standards for financial planning processes and reporting (e.g., tools,  templates, KPIs)
  • Develop group-wide processes for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting – including the implementation of best-practice standards in management reporting
  • Monitor performance and lead preparation of regular management reports for the group and business units
  • Advise decision-makers on selecting relevant financial and non-financial KPIs, and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to implement improvements in financial processes, systems, and procedures
  • Enable insight generation and lead detailed financial analysis for informed decision making (e.g., analyzing sales, profitability, cost drivers, CAPEX spend and investment efficiencynts, etc.) across the Group
  • Work with Finance process owners to implement identified improvements in processes, systems & procedures
  • Manage financial business partner(s) for Group functions

 

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a comparable field
  • At least10+ years of relevant experience, including senior level Group FP&A experience and team management experience - ideally in an international context. Management Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in leading in a matrix setup across borders
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management, combining all 3 financial statements
  • Ability in structuring complex business topics into actionable insights, ability to see the big picture while making sure essential details are covered
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a solid understanding of economic interrelations
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA; experience with EPM tools (e.g. Anaplan) is a plus; Power BI, SQL, and SAP BPC knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent command of Danish and English, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus
