IT Operations Network Specialist

About the position
As a Network Specialist, you will join our IT Operations team, where you will help harmonize our fragmented international network setup and contribute to the continuous standardization journey. You will be responsible for daily operational support, act as a 2nd-level escalation point, and help develop our monitoring and documentation practices.
You will become part of a team of 10 colleagues located across Fredericia (DK) and Flensburg (DE), working in an international environment with close collaboration across borders.
In this role you will:
- Configure, deploy, and manage network hardware
- Act as 2nd-level escalation for complex network-related incidents
- Convert high-level designs into detailed configuration templates and documentation
- Use scripting and vendor tooling to automate monitoring and operational tasks
- Execute changes in accordance with ITIL processes to ensure stable operations
- Identify tasks suitable for 1st-level support
- Contribute to infrastructure activities in projects and rollouts
- Prepare environments, handle configurations, and ensure operational readiness
- Validate that solutions meet agreed standards before go-live
- Troubleshoot issues across network, server, and cloud layers and help prevent repeated incidents
About you
We imagine that you:
- Have 3+ years of experience as a network specialist
- Take an automation-first approach and enjoy simplifying operational work
- Are eager to learn, grow, and deepen your technical expertise withing networking
- Communicate well in English and Danish or German
- Work structured and proactiveliy in a large and diverse environment
- Thrive in a collaborative international team and share knowledge with colleagues
- May have knowledge of Fortinet solutions (not a requirement)

Practical information
This role requires regular on-site presence in both Fredericia (DK) and Flensburg (DE), and the position is full time. The start date will be as soon as possible.
