About the position
As IT Service Specialist, you will be part of our IT Operations organisation, where you help ensure clear routing, coordination and ownership of incoming IT service requests and incidents. Your work will strengthen transparency across Service Desk teams in Denmark and Germany, and support our shift-left strategy through improved knowledge, documentation, and service structures.
You will collaborate closely with Service Desk teams, specialist teams, and Business Partners, acting as a central coordination point between business needs and IT service delivery.
A key part of your role is to coordinate across teams such as Service Desk, specialist teams, Projects, Business Applications, and IT Operations. Through this coordination, you ensure that new or changed services are understood, supported and anchored in a solid support model.
Your daily work will contribute to a more efficient, structured, and well-documented IT support setup.
In this role you will:
- Ensure incoming incidents and service requests are routed to the correct team or service owner
- Maintain an overview of which services are handled by which teams across DK and DE Service Desk
- Identify requests that do not match existing services and route them appropriately
- Act as a failsafe to prevent requests from being lost or incorrectly handled
- Build and maintain documentation on services, ownership, and support structures
- Support shift-left initiatives by improving knowledge documentation and identifying opportunities for earlier resolution
- Coordinate with Service Desk, specialist teams, and Business Partners regarding new services and changes entering the IT landscape
About you
We imagine that you:
- Have experience working within IT service delivery, Service Desk, or similar roles
- Work in a structured, transparent, and service-oriented way
- Are proactive and thrive on creating clarity, structure, and documentation
- Communicate clearly and confidently across teams and organizational levels
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess good English, German and Danish language skills (both written and spoken)
- Knowledge of ITIL processes is an advantage

Practical information
This role requires regular on-site presence in Fredericia (DK) and Flensburg (DE). This is a full-time position, and the start date will be as soon as possible.
