Internal Communication Specialist to DLG Group Communications

We are looking for a proactive and strategic communicator who can act as a trusted advisor to leaders as well as translating priorities into engaging content to ensure employees feel informed, engaged and inspired.

Your role and responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning and delivering internal communication that supports business objectives and aligns with our overall strategy. This includes:

• Acting as liaison to business groups and group functions to understand priorities, challenges and opportunities that require communication support.
• Turning stories, successes, and updates into compelling messages and engaging content for company-wide channels - such as presentations, newsletters, and the intranet - ensuring messages resonate and drive impact.
• Partner with leaders to support them in communicating with clarity, impact, and strategic intent.
• Acting as communication partner on internal projects and leading communication initiatives with an internal focus to deliver internal campaigns that drive engagement and clarity.
• Monitoring communication effectiveness using feedback and analytics to improve future activities.

We value that you:

• Have proven experience in planning and delivering strategic internal communication and a proven track record in translating business priorities into clear, engaging messages.
• Are fluent in English and have full professional proficiency in either German or Danish.
• Have strong skills writing, storytelling and editing across multiple formats with an eye for detail and quality.
• Are proactive, collaborative, and able to build trust across teams and leadership levels.

You will join a strategic and creative Group Communications team with colleagues in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden. Together, we work to strengthen communication efforts and create greater coherence across the DLG Group – all in line with our strategic goals and values.

Your workplace will be either our award-winning headquarters in Fredericia or our office in Flensburg. Regardless of your base, we expect you to be regularly present at the other location to ensure close collaboration across teams.
