Short introduction regarding the role

As Risk, Data & Analytics Manager (m/f/d) Trading, you take technical responsibility for the development and quality assurance of all market price data in agricultural, oil, electricity, and gas trading. You provide forward curves that enable Trading, Risk Management, and Finance to work reliably, and you collaborate closely with the entire trading team.

Your Responsibilities

• Technical development and maintenance of market price data, forward curves, and benchmarks based on assessments, exchange settlements, and broker quotes
• Validation and updating of relevant market data and transfer prices for all trading books
• Provision of consistent forward curves and high-quality data on a daily basis for CTRMs and reports
• Definition of trading data standards and collaboration with IT to make data available across all relevant systems (e.g., CTRM, ERP)
• Close collaboration with the database provider, market price suppliers (e.g., brokers, Platts, Argus), trading teams, risk management, and IT

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science, Finance, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in data management, risk management, or a trading environment
• Experience in agricultural and energy trading is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and confident use of IT systems, databases, and analysis tools (e.g., CTRMs, APIs, BI, SQL, VBA)
• Solid knowledge of forward curve building, market price validation, and benchmarking
• Experience with databases
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary and international collaboration
• Fluent English skills, good command of Danish, and willingness to travel (generally 1–2 times per month for team meetings)
