Short introduction regarding the role

As Risk Manager Agriculture (m/f/d) Trading, you monitor and manage the risk positions of our global agricultural trading activities. You ensure that trading decisions are aligned with the approved risk profile, provide transparency on positions and contracts, and support decision-makers with sound analyses, stress tests, and limits.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring commodity, market, credit, and operational risks across all trading books
• Assessing, analyzing, and reporting on risk parameters, positions, forward curves, mark-to-market, and value-at-risk
• Reviewing daily reports and positions for accuracy
• Supporting the definition of the risk profile and monitoring compliance with trading mandates and limits
• Collaborating closely with trading and finance teams to enforce trading limits
• Maintaining key risk systems, e.g. CTRM
• Conducting stress tests, scenario analyses, and back-testing of trading strategies
• Acting as a point of contact for exchanges (Matif, CBOT), clearing members, and brokers
• Continuously reviewing and optimizing risk management processes and policies

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Agricultural Sciences, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in risk management, ideally in agricultural or commodity trading
• Experience with risk models such as stress testing, scenario analysis, and back-testing
• Ability to prepare and interpret complex risk reports, as well as experience in developing and maintaining reporting frameworks and dashboards
• Strong communication and assertiveness skills, as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary and international collaboration
• Fluent English skills, good command of Danish, and willingness to travel to our sites (generally 1–2 times per month for team meetings)
