Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Specialist

DLG is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud & Infrastructure Specialist to join our Server & Cloud team. Together with skilled colleagues, you will help drive, secure, and modernize the cloud and hybrid infrastructure that supports the entire DLG Group across countries and business units.

You will be part of a team with strong technical competencies, a collaborative and direct culture, and a high degree of autonomy. Here, you will influence both day-to-day technical decisions and the long-term evolution of our cloud platforms. Continuous learning and professional development are integral to the role.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions in Azure.
• Identify, implement, and manage DevOps tools for automation, CI/CD, and process optimization.
• Configure, monitor, and secure cloud environments aligned with application needs and governance principles.
• Advise project teams on cloud architecture, cost estimation, and optimal environment design.
• Contribute to the operation and further development of our core infrastructure.
• Support automation initiatives and document new and existing solutions.
• Handle tickets and deliver advanced 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Ensure systems remain up to date through structured patching and lifecycle management.

We Expect That You:

• Possess broad IT knowledge and strong technical insight—preferably with a background such as IT systems technician, computer science degree, or similar.
• Have solid hands‑on experience with Azure and cloud‑native architectures.
• Feel comfortable being the specialist that project teams rely on during design and deployment phases.
• Bring an analytical mindset and strong communication skills that enable you to support and guide colleagues across the organization.
• Can independently manage tasks and projects while contributing to shared development activities.
• Have proven experience operating and migrating Windows and Linux servers in hybrid environments.
• Bring knowledge of cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management and can collaborate closely with our Security team.
