Senior SAP FiCO Consultant

About the position

As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant you will play a key role in ensuring stable SAP Finance operations while contributing to our S/4HANA Finance journey. You will be part of our Business Applications team, working closely with Finance, Controlling and Supply Chain to design standardised, scalable and integrated financial processes across the organisation.

The role spans both operational support and participation in ongoing and future projects, with a strong focus on integration to logistics processes, harmonisation of Finance processes and securing reliable financial data flows across entities.

In this role you will

• Lead and support SAP FI and CO configuration, enhancements, and incident handling across ECC and S/4HANA
• Design and optimise end-to-end finance and controlling processes in close collaboration with stakeholders
• Ensure strong integration between FICO and MM/SD/EWM/TM, including automated financial postings
• Contribute to the S/4HANA finance roadmap (e.g. universal journal, new GL, margin analysis)
• Prepare and execute testing, cutovers, and go-lives for finance related changes and projects
• Guide and mentor junior consultants and key users, including training activities

About you

We imagine that you:

• Bring 7+ years of hands-on experience as a SAP FICO consultant in medium or large organisations
• Have completed at least three full-cycle implementations and S/4HANA finance projects
• Possess strong functional knowledge across FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, tax, closing) and CO (CCA, PCA, internal orders, product costing, profitability analysis)
• Understand integration between FICO and MM/SD and how operational processes influence financial outcomes
• Have experience with interface technologies (SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO & CI, IDoc/API, banking integrations)
• Communicate effectively in English and work confidently with both finance leadership and IT colleagues
• SAP certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance is an advantage
