About the position

As our AI Manager you will play a key role in Group IT, where you will be responsible for maturing and executing DLG’s AI strategy in close collaboration with business units.

In this role you will not only drive the direction and delivery of AI initiatives but also build and lead a team of AI specialists. You will be responsible for creating a strong foundation for how we develop, scale, and operate AI solutions across the organisation.

In this role you will:

You will be responsible for shaping the direction of AI across DLG while leading a team that delivers impactful, business-aligned solutions.

More specifically you will:

• Define and own the AI roadmap and use-case portfolio across business units
• Build, lead, and develop a team of AI specialists
• Translate business needs into scalable and impactful AI solutions
• Drive solution design from concept through architecture decisions to implementation
• Establish standards for data, integrations, security, scalability, and responsible AI
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and partners to ensure progress and quality
• Support build/buy decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise platforms

About you

You are an experienced leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for developing both people and solutions. You bring a pragmatic and structured approach, and are motivated by creating results through others as well as through your own expertise.

You are comfortable navigating across both business and IT, and you know how to create direction, alignment, and momentum in a complex stakeholder landscape.

• Have proven experience leading and developing teams within AI, data, or advanced analytics
• Bring a strong understanding of solution architecture and complex IT landscapes
• Have experience driving AI or data initiatives from idea to implementation

• Are a strong people leader who motivates, coaches, and creates engagement
• Take a structured and outcome-driven approach to your work
• Communicate clearly and make complex topics accessible

The position is full-time and based in either Fredericia or Flensburg. Start date is expected to be in September/October.
